Enterprise Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

 

As an Enterprise Sales Engineer at Assured Data Protection, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales efforts by providing technical leadership and expertise throughout the pre-sales process. You will work closely with our Enterprise Account Executives, partners, and customers to design and present tailored data protection and cyber recovery solutions that align with the business and compliance requirements of mid-sized enterprises and healthcare organizations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Technical Leadership:

 

    • Serve as a subject matter expert on Assured Data Protection’s managed services and Rubrik’s product suite, including data protection, file systems, cloud data management, and disaster recovery solutions.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise and healthcare customers, addressing their complex technical requirements, compliance concerns (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST), and operational challenges with innovative solutions.

 

  • Solution Design and Development:

 

    • Analyze customer needs and design enterprise-scale data protection solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.
    • Develop solution architecture and pricing models in collaboration with the sales team, ensuring scalability and regulatory compliance.

 

  • Sales Support:

 

    • Lead technical workshops, product demonstrations, and executive presentations for enterprise and healthcare customers.
    • Qualify sales opportunities by assessing technical requirements, competitive landscape, decision-making processes, and budgets.

 

  • Collaboration and Engagement:
    • Build strong relationships with enterprise account teams, partners, and C-level executives to support sales objectives.
    • Leverage internal resources, partner expertise, and industry insights to drive strategic sales success.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • 7+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer or similar technical pre-sales role, preferably in enterprise software, data protection, primary storage, or data center environments.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and data analytics.
  • Experience working with healthcare organizations and large enterprises ($500M+ revenue), understanding their compliance, security, and operational requirements.
  • Proven ability to engage with C-level executives, translating technical capabilities into tangible business value.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and a “get-it-done” attitude.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and customer engagements simultaneously.
