New team members who joined us in March

Rob has worked as a Software Engineer & Developer for the last 8 years in the government contracting space. With focus shifting from embedded systems, to algorithm development, and most recently AWS Cloud infrastructure, Rob’s experience covers a wide spectrum. Assured is his first position outside the government contracting space, and he looks forward to applying his skills just the same!

“My first month has been a whirlwind of information and excitement! I’m passionate about helping Assured as much as I can to automate tasks and increase our workflow. Much like my favorite hobby, running table top role playing games, I am pumped about creating a world where everyone here works together more efficiently.”

Sam brings over seven years of experience in the cloud technology space, specializing in cloud infrastructure and platform-as-a-service. She began her career as a junior web developer and gradually transitioned into a range of customer-facing roles, including sales engineering, customer success, and product management. Prior to joining Assured, she served as a Senior Program Manager for Multicloud at Oracle.

“I’m incredibly excited and honored to be part of the team at Assured. I get to work alongside some of the most talented, driven, and kind individuals, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.”

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her family—including her toddler and two beloved fur babies. She has a passion for travel, music, and horror films. A self-proclaimed foodie, she loves exploring new cuisines, discovering hidden gem restaurants, and checking out trendy coffee spots. One of her most adventurous culinary experiences to date? Trying fried frog legs in Aruba!

Dudley joins Assured Data Protection as a Channel Account Manager.

“I love spending time with my family and our young daughter, who definitely keeps us on our toes! We’re also excited to be expecting our second child in June.

Over the last 5–6 years, I’ve worked in the Telecoms, IT, and Cyber space, with a strong focus on building and managing great client relationships. I’ve been genuinely blown away by the team, culture, and ambition at Assured, and I’m really excited about the company’s future — and the role I can play in helping us grow.”

Scott joins Assured with over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry working for public, private, and non-profit organizations. Enthusiastic and passionate about driving innovation, he brings deep technical expertise and leadership skills to his new role at Assured. In recent years, he has focused on designing, building, and implementing resilient infrastructure in both on-premises and colocation environments and delivering robust disaster recovery solutions to ensure seamless business continuity.

“I am excited to join Assured at what is a time of rapid growth. The team has made me feel so welcome and valued. I have so much to learn operationally, and I am really enjoying the challenge and look forward to contributing to Assured’s continued success!

I am a Tech enthusiast, gym junkie, car enthusiast and detailer, snowboarder, motorcyclist, and all-round adrenaline nut. When I’m not enjoying hobbies, I am often outside barbequing, walking my dog Ted, or competing in fitness competitions”

Nico is an experienced Account Manager with over six years of success in the VAR space across the DMV area. He spent most of his career at CDW, where he focused on Southern Virginia—building strong client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and delivering tailored IT solutions to meet evolving business needs.

As a member of the newly formed Client Expansion Team at Assured Data Protection, Nico is excited for what’s ahead.

“I’m really looking forward to joining the brand new Client Expansion Team at Assured Data Protection. I have the utmost confidence this team can exceed expectations and continue to grow along with the rest of the company.

Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with my cat, Kobe, and cheering on the Washington Wizards.”

Irfan has been IT for 30+ years in almost every role from the ground up to management.

“I Love tech and gadgets, (who in IT doesn’t). I have worked in small, medium, and large sized organizations in financial services and banking for the last 20 years.

The last few weeks at Assured have been intense learning and its great to see an organization with a drive to change and grow. I’m looking forward to being a part of the Assured team as things evolve.

On a personal level, I enjoy going for long walks or gentle cycle rides in the countryside, spending time with family, and exploring new and different culinary dishes to cook for the family.”

Since graduating in 2018, Will has held a variety of roles in Sales, Digital Marketing, and more recently Product. For the last 4 years he’s worked in the Sports Tech industry, managing the development of hardware and software applications for athlete performance monitoring and data visualization.

“After my first interview with Lee and Stew, I knew Assured was the type of place I wanted to be, and these first few weeks haven’t disappointed. I’m thrilled to be joining the new Product team, eager to get stuck in, and looking forward to the journey ahead.

Away from my desk, Hockey, Golf, and the bars of Meanwood/Headingley keep me occupied, in-between spending time with my partner, of course. I captain Leeds Adel HC Men’s 1^st Team during the Winter and attempt to break 90 whilst fixing my slice in the Summer – often in vain.”

Trent has been selling enterprise software and services for 15 years.  He began his career as an SDR at McAfee and quickly worked his way into Inside Sales. He then transitioned to CA Technologies, selling Arcserve Backup and Replication software.  In 2014, he began his career in Field Sales with Splunk where he credits this as the foundation of his selling experience for the next 11 years.

Trent was a President’s Club award winner at Splunk and after careful consideration, he took a job with a VAR that was in need of building out their Splunk Licensing and Services practice.  He began working at LCN Services in 2017 as LCN’s Splunk Practice Director, helping build LCN’s Splunk business over the next 8 years. Trent won multiple President’s Clubs, Top Gun Sales Awards, and secured LCN’s first and largest MSSP deal in its history – worth $12 million.

Trent is an avid golfer and sports fan who loves summer time hiking in the Colorado mountains. Based in Denver, he has two teenage daughters and a wife that is also in the tech industry, so they lead a very blessed and busy life!
