New team members who joined in January

BY Victoria Neame

A huge Assured welcome to our new folks: Lonnie, D’Marco, Tanesha, Jack, Brendan and Jenny, who joined us to work in our technical & sales teams. Here is an introduction to them!

Lonnie Paschall, Global Director of Solutions

Lonnie has over two decades of experience in Enterprise Infrastructure management including backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.

Throughout his career, he has focused on the creation of processes to improve the customer experience.

“The opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and assist with streamlining disaster recovery operations while continuing to focus on providing the value and customer service that have defined Assured Data Protection is both exciting and challenging.”

Outside of the office, Lonnie likes to spend time with the family, travel, and anything and everything to do with cars.

D’Marco Mobley, Project Manager

D’Marco is excited to start on a new chapter as he joins the team at Assured Data Protection as a Project Manager.

“I am super excited to be joining Assured, having the opportunity to contribute my skills and experience to make a positive impact and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.”

Outside of work, D’Marco enjoys doing jiu-jitsu, traveling, and playing with his 3 cats.

Tanesha Garvey, Channel Account Manager

Tanesha has more than 10 years’ Channel IT experience within both distributors and vendors.

“I’m so excited to work with Assured Data Protection due to the variety of experience I will gain from this role. The exposure to various industries and diverse partners is fantastic and the continuous learning is a real win for me. The rapid growth of Assured and the opportunity for progression is excellent, and the culture is the best I have ever experienced. Everyone has been so welcoming, helpful and down to earth.”

Jack Franklin, L2 Service Desk Engineer

Jack has a wealth of experience in cyber security which he can apply directly to his role in the service desk.

“I have evolved from working in broadband infrastructure serving every day customers to protecting the public sector in cybersecurity for a number of years.

I took this role  at Assured Data Protection because I am hungry for more knowledge and to add value to the company with the skills I have developed. So far the team I have worked in has been very kind and supportive. The role has even motivated me to get my driving licence as this would open up new opportunities working for Assured.”

Jack’s hobbies include watching history documentaries, going to boxercise classes and he has a love for dogs and IPA beers.

Brendan Quinn, Senior Sales Engineer

With a robust background in IT, Brendan brings a wealth of experience to the table. Having worked in diverse sectors including Local Government and Financial Technology, Brendan has specialised expertise in infrastructure, virtualisation and security.

Joining the team at Assured Data Protection, Brendan eagerly anticipates contributing his skills and expertise to the company’s growth while also seizing opportunities for personal and professional development.

Brendan is not only an accomplished IT professional but also a devoted family man, proud father to two teenagers, Ashlyn and Aidan, and a loving husband to his supportive wife, Katie.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Brendan finds joy in pursuing his hobbies. He’s particularly passionate about BBQ, mastering the art of Eastern NC style Whole Hog BBQ. When he’s not perfecting his BBQ technique, you can find Brendan immersed in various projects, whether it’s home improvements, welding, or setting up his home lab for continuous education in his field.

Jenny Le, Office Assistant

Jenny is currently in school full time and aims to get her degree in data science while working at Assured.

“I’m happy that I am able to contribute and do my part to make any processes smoother.  This opportunity at Assured has also allowed me to grow outside of the workplace and also reach my own personal goals.  Since my onboarding, everyone has been really nice and encouraging – I’m really excited for all the learning opportunities that’ll come and to play a hand in an already evolving and supportive environment.”

Jenny enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, drinking green smoothies, doing LEGOs, and picking up new hobbies.
