Assured Data Protection Raises £2,446.25 for Yorkshire Rewilding in First ESG Fundraiser

On Thursday, 22nd May, Assured Data Protection hosted its first Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) fundraiser – a lively charity quiz and raffle in aid of Yorkshire Rewilding. The evening was a tremendous success and we’re delighted to share that the total raised for Yorkshire Rewilding was £2,446.25!
Yorkshire Rewilding is a local initiative dedicated to restoring native habitats and biodiversity in the Yorkshire region. Their work supports healthy ecosystems by reintroducing native plants and animals, creating wild spaces, and fostering sustainable stewardship of the land. Their mission aligns perfectly with our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The ESG initiative was spearheaded by our ESG Executive, Rory Cummins, who believes that ESG practices are integral to Assured Data Protection’s mission. “ESG is crucial for us,” Rory explains, “because it ensures we’re not only protecting data but also protecting our planet and communities. It strengthens our values as a responsible business and connects us with causes that matter to our team and our customers.”
Yorkshire Rewilding shared their gratitude for the event’s success: “We would like to give a massive thank you to Assured Data Protection for raising an amazing amount for YRN with their company quiz night fundraiser & raffle. It’s great to have your support for rewilding, and well done to Rory for organising it. YRN committee members Sarah, John, Jeff and Debbie went along to join in the fun, and donations such as this make a huge difference and enable charities such as YRN to keep doing what we do.”
This is just the beginning of our ESG journey at Assured Data Protection. We’re proud to support Yorkshire Rewilding and are excited for future initiatives.
